This Girl is Definitely My Daughter

As promised, I took some pictures of the little one working on her turning over skills again today. I know she is my daughter because one day she just up and decides she is going to turn over. Then she goes crazy all the time trying to do it. I had to pick her up and hold her a few times because the minute I put her back on the floor, she would just try and try to turn over, it was making her crazy! It's all she wants to do. She definitely has a large dose of my determination! Right now she is taking a longer nap than usual because she is so tuckered out! I was able to keep her in bed past 6:00 though so I'm really happy about that. I say, if she stays in bed until 6:00 am, it is a good day.

So this morning she did pretty well with it - she turned almost all the way over but she's getting her arm stuck. Here is her progress:

Okay, I'm getting ready to do this thing:

Here I go!

Eh, eh, eh...

Why won't my arm get out of the way?

Meh, maybe I'll just lay here and eat my hand

Back on my back to rest...I'll try this again later...

What the hell? I turn over on my back all day and no one even cares...hmmmph...

Did anyone notice how cute that butterfly blanket is? It's part of her new Very Hungry Caterpillar Zoobie... here is the caterpillar part ... the blanket fits inside it, sorry I uploaded it the wrong way:

I bought it Sunday after a few glasses of wine at brunch. Something about drinking makes me buy stuffed animals! Just ask my girlfriends about Kim Jong Il the frog...long story... (ronrey, so ronrey...)

Well anyway, there are some pictures for you Lola. I'm happy because DH comes home this afternoon. It's Friday! Enjoy it!

  2. How exciting! I like the pictures, sort of "how to" guide to rolling over, cute!
