For THIS is Hall-o-ween

One little skeleton bopping up and down... bopping up and down... bopping up and down... one little skeleton bopping up and down... for THIS is Hall-o-ween..

Does anyone else remember that Halloween song? I love it. I love Halloween, it's my favorite holiday. We've been decorating the house like crazy and today was our costume Mommy & Me class. I really didn't feel like putting the little one's costume on. She has this chili pepper costume we got a long time ago when Babystyle went out of business and it just doesn't suit her. It's a bunting type costume and she's just too big and active for that I think. So instead she wore her super cutie Halloween outfit from Super Auntie. I dressed the hat up a bit with some flair and even had some flair for myself.

It was so cute to see all the other outfits at Mommy & Me. Some other babies also wore cute Halloween outfits instead of costumes but there were also a lot of adorable costumes. My favorite and hands down the best was Baby Jordan who came as a hot dog! OMG a hot dog! It was so hilarious. I didn't bring the camera to the class because I walked with the Ergo carrier and I figured it would just be one more thing. I use my purse as a diaper bag so I don't have tons of extra room. We travel light!

Things have been going pretty well. This morning DH was on his way for an overnight trip in Texas and the flight was so delayed that he just got off because he was going to miss his meeting. So instead of being alone today and tonight I had help. Makes a BIG difference. He still has another overnight trip this week and then puke, he has a week long trip to Japan. But somehow I'll make it.

Tomorrow night I have a girls night out with my friend Brieanne, I am very into it. I will not get all wasted and puke like I did on Saturday but I am going to enjoy myself and relax. I will miss the little one a ton of course but it will be good for both of us. I guess soon I'll be going back to work and having a lot of time away from her - that will be a big change. I am sure it will be both sad and happy.
